Signal-Werk ist die Werkzeugmarke des Einzelunternehmens Thomas Schüller in Tulln an der Donau. Unter ihr stehen 84 Instrumente und Werkzeuge für Klang, Bild und Licht, die als Webseite laufen — vom Synthesizer über Drumcomputer, Grooveboxen und ein digitales Orchester bis zum Regieplatz mit Lautheitsmessung nach EBU R128, einem VJ- und Lichtwerkzeug mit DMX über Art-Net und Rechnern für Beschallung und Veranstaltungstechnik. Ein Schnittstellenprotokoll verbindet die Werkzeuge über MIDI, OSC, Art-Net und MQTT; das Telefon wird über GRIFFWERK zur Steuerfläche. Drei Entscheidungen gelten für jedes Werkzeug: Nichts verlässt das Gerät. Es läuft ohne Netz. Gekauft heißt behalten — ein Kauf, drei Geräte gleichzeitig, kein Abonnement. Hinter Signal-Werk stehen zwanzig Jahre Veranstaltungs- und Soundsystem-Praxis, ein Werkmeister für Maschinenbau mit Lehrabschlüssen in Veranstaltungstechnik und Elektroinstallation, und die Fertigungswerkstatt Schicht-Werk in Wien. Die Testphase ist offen; der Verkauf beginnt, wenn die Werkzeuge es verdient haben.
Signal-Werk is the tool brand of sole proprietor Thomas Schüller in Tulln an der Donau, Austria. It carries 84 instruments and tools for sound, image and light that run as web pages — from synthesizers, drum machines, grooveboxes and a digital orchestra to a control room with EBU R128 loudness metering, a VJ and lighting tool with DMX over Art-Net, and calculators for sound reinforcement and event engineering. An interface protocol links the tools over MIDI, OSC, Art-Net and MQTT; a phone becomes a control surface through GRIFFWERK. Three decisions hold for every tool: nothing leaves your device; it runs without a network; bought means kept — one purchase, three devices at a time, no subscription. Behind Signal-Werk are twenty years of live-event and soundsystem practice, a master craftsman in mechanical engineering with trade qualifications in event technology and electrical installation, and the fabrication workshop Schicht-Werk in Vienna. The test phase is open; sales begin when the tools have earned it.
